We offer a variety of guided safaris and tours to meet the different needs of our valid tourists from all over the world, ranging from scheduled hotel/lodge tours driven in microbuses to adventurous camping safaris to the remotest areas of Damaraland, Kaokoland, Bushmanland and Botswana undertaken in 4x4 vehicles with high standard camping equipment, preferably catering for smaller groups of 4 to 12 people.

Our service also includes planning self-driven tours and car rental, fly-in safaris, programs for groups with special fields of interest and group incentives.
For the keen sport angler, we offer angling trips along the coast and the Okavango and Zambezi Rivers. We would like to share the love of our country with you.

SOSSUSVLEI DUNES - 3 day guided tour

    Swakopmund – Kuiseb Canyon – Sossusvlei – Dead Valley – Swakopmund

dead vleiThe 3-day tour departs from Swakopmund to Walvis Bay with a detour to the lagoon, which is a birders paradise. Travel via the Kuiseb Pass to the Namib Naukluft Park with two nights accommodation at a lodge, situated a mere 40 kilometers from the entrance to Sossusvlei near Sesriem.

Early the next morning, experience the highest dunes in the world – which at places can reach a height of +/- 300m, hike to the impressive ‘Dead Vlei’ in the glowing morning light.   Before your return to the lodge, visit the narrow gorges of the Sesriem Canyon.   Spend the remainder of the day in the comfort of the lodge.

Return to Swakopmund on the same route as on Day 1, however can also offer a route via Spreetshoogte Pass to Windhoek.

ETOSHA - GAME & NATURE - 5 day guided tour

zebras in EotshaThe Waterberg Nature Reserve is known for it’s hidden beauty amidst the Waterberg, with dense vegetation, rich in fauna, flora and birdlife.  Short hiking trails to the plateau will present you with amazing panoramic views onto the plains.   Observe a close-up of the shy and rare Damara Dikdik, which is the smallest antelope in Africa.

On the second day the tour continues to the well-known Etosha National Park, with it’s size of 22.912sq.km it is home to an abundance of game.   For three days, covering the east and western parts of the Park, extensive game viewing is of the order.

The tour continues from Okaukuejo, via Outjo and Omaruru, a small town with an artist-flair and coffee shops, before arriving at our farm, Kaliombo Safari Camp.  Accommodation is in five safari-tents on the banks of a dry riverbed.   With an afternoon until sunset, nature drive in an open vehicle and the evening at an open fire brings the last day to an enjoyable closure.

On day 5, within a short driving distance, the tour ends in Windhoek at 15h00.  Here clients are brought to their accommodation or delivered to the airport.

OVAHIMBA RENDEZVOUS - 7 day guided tour

Swakopmund – Damaraland Sesfontein – Opuwo – Epupa Falls – Hobatere – Windhoek

ovahimbaDamara- and Kaokoland in the northwestern region of Namibia, are one of the most interesting regions of this country with it’s fascinating endemic flora and fauna as well as it’s different ethnic tribes and people.    

Depart Swakopmund along the coastal road before heading inland to Damaraland for the first night’s accommodation in a private concession area.   Enjoy the morning nature drive in an open off-road vehicle, before heading to Sesfontein, with it’s old German fort – a relic from post colonial times, which has been renovated into a jewel of a lodge.   The resident Herero people, wearing their traditional dress lend a special flair to the setting.

After a fascinating drive through the bizarre landscape of the Giraffe mountains and past many unusual ‘upside-down’ trees (baobabs), we arrive at the capital of Kaokoland, Opuwo and  a few kilometers outside town – an excellent lodge, with grandiose views of the valley below.

The highlight of this tour is most definitely the Epupa falls on the Kunene-river, which also forms a natural border with Angola.   The amazing countryside, fantastic sundowners and the beautiful and proud Ovahimba’s, who still maintain their ancient traditional lifestyle, will leave a lifetime impression. 

After 2 eventful days, our tour returns to Damaraland, where our accommodation will be at an excellent lodge situated on a private concession bordering the Etosha National Park.    Here you will have a last, but excellent opportunity to experience more game on a game drive in an over lander.

DESERT - COAST - WILDLIFE - 11 day guided tour

The tour will commence from our capital, Windhoek with the first night’s accommodation in a 4* hotel.   On the next day, the destination to the privately-owned Namib Rand Nature Reserve and the fascinating dune landscape for 2-nights at an exclusive lodge, is sadly not long enough to absorb the ambience and kaleidoscope of colours found in this beautiful desert landscape.  

After a drive through the Namib desert, your day’s destination is the quaint and picturesque town, Swakopmund.   The enchantment of this small town lies within it’s old buildings, intimate shopping malls and good restaurants.    The tour continues along the coastal road, before heading towards Damaraland and to Namibia’s 1st World Heritage Site at Twyfelfontein known for it’s famous rock engravings and to a lodge nestled amongst huge granite boulders.

Continue the tour via the monolith of rock formation, Fingerklip overlooking the Ugab terrace, which makes an ideal photographic object, before continuing to a private game farm 40 km from Etosha.   Apart from the possibility of game viewing, a wellness-centre is also at the lodge – total relaxation for body and soul.
A full day in the Etosha National Park to view the abundance of wildlife at different waterholes, before the eastern exit of the Park, where yet another exclusive lodge will be hosting you as their guest.   Depart Onguma towards the centre of Namibia and the home of the AfriCat foundation, where an unforgettable experience awaits you at Onkonjima, another beautiful lodge.   To observe the feeding of Africa’s wild cats as well as an early morning ‘bushman walk’, one of Namibia’s ancient people, is not to be missed. 

A last night in Windhoek, ends this 11-day tour of unforgettable memories and impressions.

CAPRIVI - BOTSWANA - VICTORIA FALLS - 11 day guided tour

Victoria FallsThe 11-day tour to the north-eastern part of Namibia, begins with a drive via Okahandja and an overnight stay outside Otjiwarongo, then we continue to one of the largest game parks in Southern Africa, namely the Etosha National Park.  Observe and view the abundance of game and birdlife in the ‘great white place’ when on game drives.

Experience the lifestyle and ancient traditions of one of the oldest ethnic people in Namibia, whilst on a ‘Bushman walk’ near Tsintsabis. After an overnight stop near Rundu, we arrive at the Mahangu National Park, situated on the western part of the Caprivi.   This relatively small park plays host to a large selection of game, from large herds of buffalo, to elephants and even the rare sable antelope.

After 2 days, the route takes you further into the eastern part of the Caprivi and to the Mudumu Park, where the next destination is an exceptionally beautiful lodge.   Conclude the full days’ experiences with a restful cruise on the Kwando River, whilst toasting the sunset.  Because of the perennial flowing rivers in the Caprivi, the lush vegetation is a paradise for an amazing bird-life.

Driving on the Caprivi highway (not to be compared with a proper highway), we arrive at the capital of the Caprivi, Katima Mulilo.   Spend the last night with your tour guide at a beautiful lodge on the banks of the Zambesi river.  The following day, depart for the border post, Ngoma where your guide will bid you farewell. Transfer with a shuttle to your 2-night stay at a lodge in the Chobe National Park, which is yet another excellent game park for viewing game.

An organised transfer will take you to a comfortable guesthouse at Vic Falls.  Enjoy your visit to one of the seven wonders in the world, the Vic Falls, which is certainly a sight not to be missed.

Transfer to the airport, in order to catch your return flight home ends this exhilarating tour with everlasting memories.

KAOKOLAND ADVENTURE - 12 day camping safari

Epupa waterfallsThe North-West of Namibia is possibly the most remote and isolated, however geological unequalled area of Namibia. The adventure in a four-wheel drive vehicle to the unspoilt and challenging environment will truly enhance this camping experience.

Spend the first night on the farm Kaliombo, before the camping adventure starts. Drive through the fascinating Damaraland with it’s World Heritage Site at Twyfelfontein and it’s rock art, onto Palmwag, through the Hoanib River - home of the roaming desert elephants - and through the majestic Hoarusib valley. Proceed further north, where we will find some of the nomadic Himba settlements, until reaching the remote Marienfluss area for an unsophisticated camping experience in this unique area.

Experience the arid desert landscape and bizarre mountainous terrain, to the luxury of comfortable accommodation at Opuwo before heading to the fascinating Epupa Falls on the Kunene River. Leaving Hobatere we will drive through the western side of the Etosha National Park (accessible to accredited tour operators only) to the Okaukuejo Rest Camp.

The nights under a star-laden sky, freshly prepared meals at the campfire and keen tour guides with excellent camping experience will leave everlasting impressions.

OFF ROAD EXPEDITION - 14 day accompanied self-drive tour

Windhoek – Kaliombo – Etosha National Park – Ruacana – Epupa Falls – Van Zyls Pass – Marienfluss – Purros – Ongongo – Aba Huab – Kaliombo – Windhoek

After arrival in Windhoek and take-over of the leased vehicles, the adventure starts.   On the farm Kaliombo, test-drive your vehicle in the mountainous terrain and the dry riverbed with an experienced off-road guide and instructor to familiarize yourself with the off-road driving conditions.   The rustic permanent tented camp and the evening spent around an open fire lends itself to an African adventure.

The adventure begins under the watchful eye of your experienced Namibian guide with an easy drive via Omaruru, Otjiwarongo and Otavi to the Etosha National Park, across the Andoni Plains, Oshakati and Ruacana, for the 1st nights camping experience.  From this point forward, the terrain along the Kunene river to the magnificent Epupa falls becomes more challenging.  Explore the majestic surrounding countryside and pay a visit to the Himba village during the 2-night stay-over. 

himba village near PurrosThe most challenging route, which puts the endurance and driving skills of any driver to the test, is over the Van Zyl’s Pass, before arriving at the next campsite at Marienfluss.  Here are many suitable camping sites in this fascinating landscape with an endless horizon dotted with herds of antelope.   The route continues in a southerly direction, past many small Himba settlements via Orupembe, the Khumib river to a good camping site at Purros.   A possibility to come across the desert-adapted elephants in the Hoarusib- and Hoanib river is an added bonus.

Travel on good gravel roads via Sesfontein to Warmbad and the Ongongo waterfalls, an oasis in this arid region.  Traversing Damaraland with its beautiful scenery, fauna and flora, the rare black rhino may be spotted.  At Twyfelfontein visit the famous rock engravings and Namibia’s 1st World Heritage site, past the highest mountain in Namibia, the Brandberg, before pitching the tent at an excellent campsite under the majestic Ana-trees.

To conclude the tour, spend your last evening at the Kaliombo Safari Camp reminiscing the adventures of the 12-day tour around the open fire. 

Hand-over of leased vehicle with a transfer to the airport ends another exhilarating adventure in Namibia.

Enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the dune landscape, the sunrise at Sossusvlei and a tour to the Sesriem Canyon. The journey continues over the Kuiseb Canyon, towards the coast, Sandwich Harbour and Walvis Bay before reaching Swakopmund. Enjoy a walk through this quaint coastal town with it’s historical buildings and neat little shopping malls.

A trip to the Epupa Falls, along the Kunene River and a visit to a Himba-settlement – one of the last truly nomadic tribes in Africa, onwards to Ongava, the privately owned game park adjacent to the Etosha Nature Park. Ongava, measuring 25000ha has a big variety of game and complements the Etosha National Park with it’s 65000 mammals.

At your last destination, the Impalila Island on the Chobe River, an entirely different Africa with bathing elephants, hippo’s, crocodiles, countless different bird species can be spotted. The lonesome call of the African Fish Eagle will awake the African spirit within you.
